Mark MaynardTitle: Marketing Manager
Mark serves as Marketing Manager for U-M Tech Transfer. As such, he is responsible for the Tech Transfer presence as it develops on-line, in print and through programs, partnerships and special events. Mark’s responsibilities also include the marketing of University of Michigan technologies on the internet, the management of TechStart, the Tech Transfer business development intern program.
When not in the office, Mark is active in the Ypsilanti community. He presently serves as Dean of the Ann Arbor Awesome Foundation.
Before joining the staff, Mark was the Director of New Products and Services for The International Satellite Group (INSAT). Previous to that, he has worked in such diverse fields as historic archeology and publishing.
Mark earned his BA from the University of Michigan in American Studies, with a concentration in Literature and Intellectual History.
