Kristen Mataya WolffTitle: Associate Director of Licensing, Medical Devices
Kristen collaborates with faculty and researchers across the University of Michigan, including within the College of Engineering, the Dental School, and the School of Medicine, to protect and commercialize intellectual property. She focuses on medical devices and biomaterials.
Prior to joining the Office of Technology Transfer, Kristen was a patent attorney and patent strategist for several years at Knobbe Martens LLP, Foley & Lardner LLP, and Aurora Consulting LLC. She built and managed valuable patent portfolios for medical device, biotech, and digital health startups.
Kristen holds a BSE and an MSE in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a JD from Duke University. She co-founded M-HEAL while a student at the University of Michigan.
