Hannah PiankoTitle: Associate Director of Licensing, Digital Technologies
Hannah collaborates with faculty and researchers from various areas including Engineering, Information, Business, Law, Art & Design, Architecture, and others to protect and commercialize intellectual property developed at the University of Michigan. Her focus is on the development and commercialization of digital technologies.
Prior to joining the Office of Technology Transfer, Hannah held various roles as a practicing attorney, including as a founder of a boutique law firm, where she represented venture-backed startups, as in-house counsel for General Assembly, and as a corporate associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.
Hannah holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from NYU’s School of Law.
