Doug FinchTitle: Mentor-in-Residence
Doug is an early stage technology and angel investor. He heads up the Ann Arbor Angels, serves on advisory boards for several venture capital and angel investing organizations, and has mentored at both the Ross School of Business and UMich School of Engineering.
Previously he was co-owner and COO of Summit Health, Inc., a nationwide provider of employee health screenings to Fortune 500 companies. Summit Health built its own high complexity clinical laboratory and proprietary ERP system, and was acquired by Quest Diagnostics in 2014. Prior to Summit Health, Doug held leadership positions in start-up and R&D companies in the fuel cell, power electronics, engineered plastics and advanced composite material industries, and supported M&A and acquisition integration for a leading Japanese trading and investment company.
Doug earned BS and MS degrees in Aerospace Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He served for 18 years on the Board of Trustees of Allegiance Health System (now part of Henry Ford Health System), and enjoys traveling, craft beer making, and karate.
