Amanda OttawayTitle: Associate Director of Operations
As the Associate Director of Operations for U-M Tech Transfer, Amanda provides insight and strategic direction for data management and financial & operational best practices. In this role, she works closely with her team to provide outstanding customer service to faculty, researchers, staff, and licensees through administrative support, financial management, and data compliance.
Amanda is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional, as well as the former Co-Chair of AUTM’s TOOLS Course and former Chair of AUTM’s Agreements Maintenance Course. Before joining the office, she worked in the Office of Research Commercialization at North Carolina State University for nearly ten years and was a Senior Consultant for TreMonti Consulting.
She received her Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2012, and her BA in English from Meredith College in 2004.
