Jessica Soulliere: Remembering a Valued Colleague and Friend

It is with great sadness that our office shares the news that our colleague Jessica Soulliere passed away on Monday, October 1, after a year-long battle with lung cancer. Jessica has been a member of the licensing team in our office since 2014, working to move software, mobile technologies, and creative works from the laboratory into the wider world. Her contributions to the success of UM based innovations and technologies are many, but she played a particularly critical role in several important start-up licensing efforts including Neurable and Parabricks. She was especially proud of the positive impact that these and other efforts would have on changing and improving lives.

Jessica was a trusted and valued colleague with an exceptional work ethic, a strong commitment to providing exceptional service, and an indomitable and persistently positive spirit. While we mourn her loss to our team, the university community, and her family, we will continue to celebrate her positive impact on everyone that she worked with at UM and beyond. Please keep her family in your thoughts during this challenging time.

In lieu of sending flowers or similar to the family, her husband, Nick, and son, Mark, ask that you consider making a small donation to LUNGevity to aid in combating lung cancer.
