Tech Transfer is dedicated to fostering an entrepreneurial environment and technology culture. As a result, Tech Transfer takes an active role in participating and sponsoring networking events, speakers, and business outreach within the Ann Arbor region.

Local Networking Events/Groups

Networking events are a great way to get plugged into the local entrepreneurial community. Additionally, they offer opportunities to learn from speakers, panelists, and get advice directly from the groups themselves. There are many organizations and special interest groups in Ann Arbor. New Enterprise Forum (NEF)
NEF is an organization that helps entrepreneurs develop and refine investor pitches. Company presentations along with speakers and panels are held at the monthly forum. Click here to view website.

BioArbor hosts monthly educational networking events for the entrepreneurial life sciences community in the greater Ann Arbor area. BioArbor events are open to the public and are especially suited for those interested in starting or growing life science businesses. Click here to view website.
a2newtech.org Ann Arbor New Tech Meetup
A2 New Tech seeks to foster tech entrepreneurship by facilitating communication, providing access to resources, and creating community. Members meet every few weeks to participate in demo events, educational panel and speaker events, unconferences, and happy hours. Regular events have 3-5 companies present, each get 5 minutes to demo, 5 minutes to answer questions. Click here to view website.

Ann Arbor TechKnow Forums have enhanced the technology business climate in Southeastern Michigan through the production of a series of high-profile events on topics vital to our economy and quality of life.
