Mr. Wood is a Mentor-In-Residence. In this role he provides assistance in technology disclosure assessments, business formation and mentoring staff, inventors and entrepreneurs. Bill has thirty years executive management experience with large industrial organizations including Sperry-Univac and Hitachi, as well as technology based start-up and turn-around situations (Machine Vision International, Microwave Sensors, HandyLab, Translume)
For the past 15 years he has focused exclusively on young technology companies, helping them sharpen their product development and business development approaches. Bill has worked closely with several venture capital firms, often providing interim general management services during periods of challenging transition.
Bill has a Bachelor's degree in Physics and an MBA, both from the University of Michigan.
